We will be listing classes as Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced to help you when selecting a class. The classes are sorted by skill level not by date.
Beginner means you can use a rotary cutter to accurately cut your fabric and you can sew an accurate ¼” seam. You also need to know how to operate your machine – thread it, wind a bobbin and change stitches.
Intermediate means in addition to the Beginner skills, you have experience in joining blocks, adding sashing, borders and binding, understand how to “square” up a block and quilt and can “stitch-in-the-ditch” or quilt in some other manner.
Advanced means you are accomplished in both the Beginner skills and Intermediate skills plus you can read a pattern, use a template, are familiar with traditional squares.
